I am so excited to go to Germany but at the same time I have second thoughts daily. It has been a lot worse since Robert decided to buy a house. We had been discussing it but it hasn't seemed real until now. Tomorrow we are going to look at a house that has everything we are looking for.
Now I know what a lot of you are thinking... Your boyfriend is buying this house not you! While this is true we have been dating for over two years and plan to spendbthe rest of our lives together. So this house will eventually be mine as well. It scares me that we are taking all these steps together and then I will be leaving. I just feel like I'm walking out on all the hard work we have put forth the past two years. I know I would regret not going so I am obviously going but I just have things to work out!
SABRES ARE COMING TO EUROPE!!! SOOO EXCITED! I am going to the game in Berlin and hopefully the game in Helsinki. We don't get our schedules until we get to Germany so I can't determine if I'll have time to get to Finland in time for the game. I am really excited. I hope my friends get to go on the trip with the team so I can feel a little better! It will be nice sine my birthday is 3 weeks after we leave. I will be home sick for sure!
There is only 140 days or until I leave. I will be mid-flight to Hamburg 20 weeks from now. It is so crazy to think about but deep down I know I made the right choice.
I know this was a long and boring entry and more like a diary but it is a huge part of going on this adventure.
Thank you for all of the love and support!
I think it's a great idea, mainly because I've been there, done that. Best time of my life - learnt and traveled a lot, met the greatest people from all over the world, fell in love, broke my heart, got married, was happier than I've ever been before. If your adventure is going to be just half as good as mine, it's worth it.
ReplyDeleteAnd if your boyfriend is the one, you're gonna make it work.
Hope you have a great time in Germany!
P.S. If you get the chance, visit Hamburg, it's a great city.
